Before class
- Wear stretchable pants or shorts. Tie long hair in a high pony or braid.
- Bring your own water bottle and clean sports shoes. Avoid accessories.
- Kids should not wear jeans, flowy dresses or skirts.
- Use the restroom before class starts.
Studio rules and policies.
A few simple rules keep every class safe, focused and fun. Please read them before your first class.
In the studio
- No gum or food in the studio. Your teacher gives water breaks; if you spill water on the floor, please clean it up.
- No running around the studio or hanging from the ballet barres.
- Help keep the studio clean. Damage to the studio may be charged.
Pick-up and siblings
- If a child is leaving with an adult other than a parent, tell the teacher at drop-off.
- Siblings stay with their parent at all times. No running around in the lobby.
Choreography and performances
- The instructor decides songs, dance styles and how long each song is taught. Suggestions are always welcome.
- Performance dress code: black sleeveless leotard and black tights, worn under costumes. Please buy these ahead of time.
Attendance and make-up classes
- Regular attendance gets you the most out of every term. Let your teacher know before you miss a class.
- If we cancel for weather or any other reason, we'll tell you in advance and schedule a make-up class.
- Classes missed for personal reasons don't get a make-up or refund, but enrolled students can join another age group's class or another studio that week.
- There are no classes on long weekends.
Fees and withdrawal
- Monthly tuition is due on the first class of each month: website payment, cash or Zelle (add the student's name and batch).
- Tuition is $75 a month for 4 or 5 classes, or $200 for three months.
- A one-time $25 registration fee is paid when you start.
- Two or more students from the same family get a family discount ($70 each).
- To withdraw, give one month's notice. Otherwise the next month's tuition is charged.
