Counting you in

Bollywood dance classes.

Our signature. Expressions, storytelling and high-energy choreography to the songs you already sing along to. Ages 3 to adult.

Big film-song energy.

Bollywood is the heart of Happy Feet: high-energy choreography to the film songs students already sing along to, with the expressions and storytelling that make it Bollywood rather than just dance.

Routines come from the style founder Arpitha Chakkudige learned performing with Shiamak Davar's company in Mumbai. Students build one routine over several weeks, then perform it at showcases and community events across metro Detroit.

What a class looks like.

Every class follows the same rhythm, from tiny tots to adults.

Every class opens with sun salutations to wake the body up.

  2. Stretch and warm-up

Stretching and a dance workout so muscles are ready to move.

  3. Choreography

The hard-core dancing: technique, then a routine you build week by week.

  4. Cool-down and breathing

Slow stretches and breathing exercises to finish calm.

Bollywood questions.

Does my child need to speak Hindi?

No. Teachers explain every song and expression in English, and the lyrics come with practice.

Is Bollywood good for complete beginners?

Yes. Batches are split by age, and every class starts with a warm-up before any choreography.
