Lyrical Jazz classes.
Graceful, musical movement built on jazz technique: turns, leaps, extensions and a lot of heart. Kids, teens and adults.
Flow, feeling, technique.
Lyrical Jazz pairs jazz technique with music you feel: turns, leaps and extensions set to songs where the movement tells the story.
It is the program for dancers who want stronger technique and more control, and that technique carries straight into their Bollywood routines. Lyrical Contemporary and Indian Contemporary pieces rotate in across the term.

What you'll learn.
- Jazz basics: posture, turns, leaps and extensions
- Musicality and expression in slower pieces

What a class looks like.
- Surya namaskar
Every class opens with sun salutations to wake the body up.
- Stretch and warm-up
Stretching and a dance workout so muscles are ready to move.
- Choreography
The hard-core dancing: technique, then a routine you build week by week.
- Cool-down and breathing
